|
First, all our wind spinners designed are drawn by
hand, then we convert the picture into a bitmap file
on computer. We then take that file and convert it
into a data file that our laser cutter can read and
cut out the design drawn.
At this point the laser is ready to cut the designs. This is the only point at which we must use a machine to cut out our designs. Most designs take approximately 3 minutes to cutout. We cut everything out of 304 grade stainless steel.
|
After we cut out the design we have to sand them in a special way which will allow them to sparkle in the sun when they are spinning in the wind. We then hand bend all spinners to 90% open and hang them on the painting line.
|
Then we powder coat all our spinners with a translucent powder coating which is the second step in creating the brilliant shine you see when the spinners are turning. Powder coating is a process of baking on the paint which makes it very strong and enables us to get that great neon shine we get on our spinners. We bake all our spinners at 400 degrees for 20 minutes to insure the highest quality.

Our Spinners are Guaranteed not to rust!

The Highest Quality Wind Spinners
We make only 304 grade stainless steel wind spinners.
The highest quality metal of all spinners made and the only
non-magnetic spinners made. Sanded in a special way and then
powder coated in a variety of different methods to create the unique
shine or color changing effects that you see when they spin.
We do not use mild, zinc plated steel, or 400 grade stainless steel as all these will either rust or discolor. Test it yourself, place a magnet on any metal, if it sticks to the metal, it will rust or discolor. So hang on to our competitors receipts! You'll need em!!!
